The Skilling Uganda Strategy
Government of Uganda with support from the World Bank/International Development Agency is preparing the Uganda Skills Development Project (USDP) which will be implemented by the Ministry of Education and Sports. The project will support some of the key reforms proposed within the Skilling Uganda Strategy with a focus on agriculture and small and medium scale manufacturing sectors. The overall Project Development Objective is “to enhance the capacity of institutions to deliver quality and relevant skills training programs in agriculture, construction, and manufacturing sectors, in order to improve placement outcomes”.(UGANDA SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROJECT Resettlement Policy Framework,Ministry of Education and Sports, 2014)
